Salmon Steaks, pan fried
Prepared and served by Meryl Christmas of 2021.
Cook Time 15 minutes minutes
- Tamari Teriyaki would be good as well but omit honey.
- sesame oil
- garlic, chopped
- ginger, chopped
- honey
- salmon steaks [skin on or off]
- rice, cooked
- butter
mix ingredients to taste. Add enough honey to balance saltiness of tamari. If using teriyaki, eliminate honey.
marinate the salmon for 30 min.
Caramelize onions in marinade. Put over rice.
Pan fry the salmon in butter on med/med high heat. 4 min per side. A little pinkk is fine, as it will continue to cook after removed from pan.
