Ingredients

  • 1 lb oleo butter
  • 8 c bran buds
  • 4 c water, boiling
  • 10 eggs
  • 6 c sugar reduce by 1/2
  • 6 c oat bran
  • 8 c flour, wheat
  • 2 t salt
  • 11 t baking soda [3 T plus 2 t]
  • 2 qt buttermilk

Instructions

  • Mix oleo, 8 c bran buds, 4 c boiling water.
  • Add and beat eggs, sugar, oat bran, wheat flour, salt, baking soda, and buttermilk.
  • Bake at 350 degrees for 25 min.

Very nutritious and freezes well.
