Equipment

  • 1 large skillet

Ingredients

  • Tamari Teriyaki would be good as well but omit honey.
  • sesame oil
  • garlic, chopped
  • ginger, chopped
  • honey
  • salmon steaks [skin on or off]
  • rice, cooked
  • butter

Instructions

  • mix ingredients to taste. Add enough honey to balance saltiness of tamari. If using teriyaki, eliminate honey.
  • marinate the salmon for 30 min.
  • Caramelize onions in marinade. Put over rice.
  • Pan fry the salmon in butter on med/med high heat. 4 min per side. A little pinkk is fine, as it will continue to cook after removed from pan.
