Ingredients
- 1 onions chopped
- 3 lbs ground beef
- 3 lbs cabbage small head or 1/2 large head
- 1 T salt
- 2 t pepper
- 3 c yellow cheese grated
- 3 loaves Rhoades Frozen Bread defrost in fridge overnight; or use your own dough
Instructions
- Brown beef and onion; drain excess grease.
- Cook cabbage until just tender. Drain in colander.
- Mix beef, onion, cabbage, cheese, salt and pepper.
- Roll dough to 1/4 in thick. Cut into 5 in squares.
- In middle of squares, place 2 T [heaping] of mixture. Bring all four corners together, and place seam down on sheet. Let rise for 15-30 min.
- Bake at 375 degrees for 30 min, until brown. Brush with oil. Serve hot or freeze.
